Sailing Antilles with skipper, Vacation to the Antilles a cruise on board of a catamaran or a sailboatA sailing holiday in the Antilles is the ideal mode to spend some time relaxing and taking a break from the harsh climate in winter. The Antilles have the form of an arc that starts at the southern end of Florida and the coast of Venezuela. The Netherlands Antilles consist of two groups of Caribbean islands: Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao (called ABC islands) in the south, close to Venezuela, and St. Martin, Saba and St. Eustatius just below Puerto Rico. These islands have a tropical climate, perfect all year round: the temperature remains about 29° C and there is almost always sunny with a slight breeze that keeps the climate cool and pleasant. The French Antilles are instead made up of four main islands: Saint-Martin, Martinique and Saint-Barthélemy (France) and Guadeloupe, with its beautiful archipelago. |
